Ongdalsaem Project (GIST donates technology to supply drinking water to area affected by climate change)
  • Device (Gravity driven membrane) was donated to Fiji and Kiribati which suffered from abnormal climate effect, required by WHO.
  • Small-scale system that allows for optimal filtering and removing pathogenic microorganisms and heavy metals depending on where the system is implemented
  • Selected as one of the 15 emerging global cooperation technologies by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT)
  • Plan to expand supplies by collaborating with Korea's governmental and non-governmental organizations
